Warren Central Winterguard

2009 World Championship Finalists

Congratulations to the Warren Central World Class Winterguard on their fantastic performance at the WGI Championships in Dayton, OH on April 3 and 4. The stunning skills in Chaos Theory, especially a unique rifle feature with extended double fast work, brought the packed arena to their feet in a thunderous standing ovation. By the final flag feature, the crowd was roaring in appreciation and the performers’ faces were beaming with joy. They received a score of 91.2 – their highest score of the season – and a fifth place finish. This is their second consecutive season as a WGI World Class finalist.  

 

Additionally, Warren Central senior guard member Ashley Carr was awarded a scholarship by WGI. Ashley is planning on attending Indiana University at Bloomington in the fall.  

 

 

It was an illustrious ending to a wonderful season. Congratulations to all the Warren Central guard members and directors and staff.

2009 TriState Championships

Gold Medalist

 

 

 

The Cadet Class and B Class Winterguards had a winning finale to their season at the Divisional Finals at Center Grove High School on Saturday, March 14.

The sun was shining bright on the Warren Central Cadet Class Winterguard with their show “Fun in the Sun”. This novice group has brought an endearing enthusiasm to their performances each week and earned a Gold rating with a score of 67.4.

 

The Warren Central B Class Winterguard jumped to new heights with their show, “Jump!”. Their clever routine featuring music by Van Halen and trampolines earned them a Gold rating and a season high score of 76.6

Congratulations to all the Warren Central guard members on their hard work and a successful season.
