2022 Gold Brigade Camp Daily Schedule
Monday, July 18 thru Thursday, July 21

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT WEEK. WE NEED EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE!  IF YOU ARE ABSENT, THEN YOU MAY NOT BE IN THE SHOW!

MONDAY – JULY 18
8:45am - Report / Check-In at Door #36
  • Eat breakfast at home before coming to WCHS
  • Be prepared - arrive with all of the supplies on the list below
9:00am - Team Meeting in Band Room
9:15am - Drill Rehearsal begins (outside on the band field)
12:30pm – Lunch (provided by Chartwells at WCHS) 
  • You may bring your own lunch if you prefer
  • Everyone will eat lunch in the East Cafeteria
  • You may not leave campus, but parents may deliver food & supplies to you
1:30pm - Sectionals (Band in PAC; Guard in Warrior Dome)
5:00pm - Dinner Break (you MUST provide your own dinner)
  • You must provide your own dinner. Bring it with you or have it delivered. You may NOT leave campus
6:00pm - Ensemble Rehearsal (outside on the band field)
9:00pm - Dismissal – Get picked up from Door 36 - PARK ONLY IN WHITE LINED SPOTS
  • Shower and hydrate at home. Get prepared for the next rehearsal



TUESDAY – JULY 19
8:45am - Report / Check-In at Door #36

9:00am - Drill Rehearsal begins (outside on the band field)
12:30pm - Lunch (provided by Chartwells at WCHS) 
  • You may bring your own lunch if you prefer
  • Everyone will eat lunch in the East Cafeteria
  • You may not leave campus, but parents may deliver food & supplies to you
1:30pm - Sophomore, Junior, & Senior Registration
  • ID photos will be taken, so you may wish to bring a change of clothes, BUT you will also be allowed to re-take your photo the following week during school.
  • Parents should not attend unless this is this student's first year in Warren Township schools
  • Students must return to rehearsal in their sections by 2:30pm
1:30pm - Sectional (Band in PAC; Guard in Warrior Dome)
  • Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors start at 2:30pm
5:00pm - Dinner Break (you should provide your own dinner; only a snack will be provided)
  • You must provide your own dinner. Bring it with you or have it delivered. You may NOT leave campus
6:00pm - Ensemble Rehearsal (outside on the band field)
9:00pm - Dismissal – Get picked up from Door 36 - PARK ONLY IN WHITE LINED SPOTS

WEDNESDAY – JULY 20

12:30pm – Lunch (provided by Chartwells at WCHS) 
  • You may bring your own lunch if you prefer
  • Everyone will eat lunch in the East Cafeteria
  • You may not leave campus, but parents may deliver food & supplies to you
1:30pm - Sectional (Band in PAC; Guard in Warrior Dome)

5:30pm - Freshmen attend orientation (all 9th graders with last names A-Z)
  • Parents start in the in Warren PAC (Door #27); Students start in the fieldhouse.
  • Parent attendance is NOT required. All information will be available online afterward. Parents are also allowed to attend any of the 4 sessions offered on Wednesday or Thursday. 
  • ALL 9th grade Gold Brigade students must pick-up a Chromebook at 5:30pm. ID photos will be taken afterward. Students may want to bring a change of clothes, but you will also be able to re-take your photo next week at school.
  • 9th grade Students must return to rehearsal by 6:30pm
  • 9th grade students will have an opportunity to tour the building and find their classrooms at a separate time

  • 9th grade Students must return to rehearsal by 6:30pm

THURSDAY – JULY 21
8:45am - Report / Check-In at Door #36
  • Eat breakfast at home before coming to WCHS
  • Be prepared - arrive with all of the supplies on the list below
9:00am - Drill Rehearsal begins (outside on the band field)
12:30pm – Lunch (provided by Chartwells at WCHS) 
  • You may bring your own lunch if you prefer
  • Everyone will eat lunch in the East Cafeteria
  • You may not leave campus, but parents may deliver food & supplies to you
1:30pm - Sectional (Band in PAC; Guard in Warrior Dome)
4:30pm – COOKOUT at Door 36 – Food provided!
  • PARENTS & GUARDIANS...donations are needed! Donate HERE
  • Food will be provided for students 
6:00pm - Ensemble Rehearsal (outside on the band field)
  • Parents and family are welcome to watch this rehearsal
9:00pm - Dismissal – Get picked up from Door 36 - PARK ONLY IN WHITE LINED SPOTS
 


SUPPLY LIST
Every Gold Brigade student must arrive with:
  • Instrument, instrument accessories, or color guard equipment.
  • Water Container labeled with name
  • Appropriate rehearsal attire (it will be warm and sunny)
  • Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen 
  • Three-ring binder
  • Pencils
How to be prepared for camp and rules you need to know:
  • Things to bring to Camp:  Sunscreen, water jug (half-gallon or larger), hat, small towel, sunglasses, pencil & 3-ring binder. 
  • Before you arrive:  Eat breakfast every morning before camp begins! This is very important. Avoid greasy foods and drink lots of water!
  • Meals: Lunches will be provided for students daily at 12:30pm. Students MUST provide their own dinner daily at 5:00pm (except Thursday). STUDENTS MAY NOT LEAVE CAMPUS during the meal breaks and must stay in the performing arts area.
  • Visitors: Parents may visit during breaks to provide food, supplies, etc. You may NOT come indoors. Friends, former members, etc. are not allowed to visit during breaks
