THEATRE-THEATRE ARTS I / Introduction to the Concepts of the Stage (2001) (2002)
Grades 9-10-11-12 (two-semester course)
Prerequisites: Passing grade in English/Language Arts
Beginning level drama course surveying the different aspects of theatre: the history of theatre, playwriting, directing, technical theatre/construction, and the various parts of producing a play, as well as reading, responding, and performing plays in front of the class is required.
THEATRE-THEATRE PRODUCTION II / Intermediate Acting & Production Concepts (2011) (2012)
Grades 10-11-12 (two-semester course)
Prerequisites: Theatre Arts I/1-2 & Extensive audition or instructor permission
Students will learn the theatrical perspective and artistic process of producing their own theatrical performances. Students will direct, design, and perform in multiple productions. Students are required to participate in one after-school performance each semester.
THEATRE-ADVANCED THEATRE ARTS / Advanced Acting (2021) (2022
Grades 10-11-12 (two-semester course)
Prerequisites: Theatre Arts I/1-2 & Extensive audition or instructor permission
Students will build upon previously acquired acting techniques and skills by applying them to scenes and plays. Students will delve deeper into Shakespeare, theatre history, improvisation, and acting. College prep/audition activities and after-school performances are required during each semester.

Technical Theatre Courses
THEATRE-TECHNICAL THEATRE I (2061) (2062)
Grades 9-10-11-12 (two-semester course)
Prerequisites: Theatre Arts I/1-2 or Audition or instructor permission
The course is focused on theater terminology, technology, and management. Expect hands-on experience with the stage and its equipment, tools and materials, production techniques, safety procedures, and stage properties. 10 hours per semester of stage crew duties outside the school day is required.
THEATRE-TECHNICAL THEATRE II (2081) (2082)
Grades 10-11-12 (two-semester course)
Prerequisites: Technical Theatre I/1-2 & Audition or Instructor permission
Laboratory course with major emphasis on theatre productions and technical theatre theory, practices, and design. Students are expected to take leadership roles in theatre productions during the course of the year. 50 hours per semester of stage crew duties outside the school day is required.

Prerequisites: Technical Theatre I & II & Audition or Instructor permission
Advanced laboratory course with major emphasis on theatre productions and technical theatre theory, practices, and design. Students are expected to take leadership roles in theatre productions during the course of the year. 50 hours per semester of stage crew duties outside the school day is required.
