Welcome to the Raymond Park Choir
We are excited to welcome you to a safe and enjoyable environment in which all students can grow as musicians and singers. Our students will focus on music reading and performance; place an emphasis on teamwork; and, working together to reach a common/team goal. The self-discipline and self-esteem inspired by this environment will help students to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Students learn the basics of musical sight-reading, correct singing and performance technique, and develop academic and social skills that enhance all core academic areas. We will cover a variety of musical literature spanning different time-periods, cultures, and genres and will demonstrate musical knowledge and growth through performance and competition.
